The Company

Crescere Group [CG] was started to provide other small business owners a place to go to get answers to their business’ needs. CG is a team of experienced professionals that have hands on knowledge with bookkeeping, tax preparation, funding guidance, finances, business plans, and coaching. CG subscribes to the belief that a single vendor for the small entrepreneur is the better approach to solving the tasks that take away from your core focus — your business.

Crescere Group is a new venture with experienced professionals who have practiced successfully what they are willing to provide to you – the entrepreneur. Our team has a combination of over 80+ years of management experience in various industries. CG also employs advisors to assist our clients who may have specific needs that only the very experienced, hands-on professional has acquired through their career history.

The People

Ron Mussett is a past and current entrepreneur with an MBA and (2) BBAs [Finance and Management] + 25 years management experience. He is a recent recipient of the Aggie 100 (2008) and the University of Dallas Business Plan Award (2005). Mr. Mussett has taught Business Planning at the University of Dallas at the graduate level for several years. His expertise includes plan development, negotiations, financing, personnel management, and analysis work. He most recently operated a 48 unit franchise with 200 staff.

Scott Smart is a past and current entrepreneur with 19 years in the tax industry. He holds a BBA in Accounting and a BS in Criminal Justice. He has successfully built multiple businesses in various industries including retail, services and tax preparation. He has been a tax course instructor for the past 7 years.

Tom Coughlin is a real estate professional with over 35 years experience and a track record of achievements in property acquisitions, sales, leasing, marketing, asset and property management, consulting, and commercial and residential brokerage. Over his career he has co-founded numerous companies engaged in various facets of real estate. A marketing graduate of Texas Tech University and a licensed Texas real estate broker, Tom is a former executive vice president of one of the largest development companies in the southwest and has personally negotiated and closed over $350 million in real estate transactions.

Mike Yerington (Advisor) has over 35 years experience in business with the last 15 years serving as President or CEO of public companies. He has served as CEO and President of Jackson Hewitt tax services, President of Western Union N.A., and Senior Vice President and member of the executive committee for the First Data Corporation. He has been a guest lecture on General Management topics at Colorado University, University of Dallas and Denver University. He brings a wealth of knowledge across many disciplines, and is noted for his work on the “Star Model”, which takes a 360 degree look at all the key areas and drivers of a business.
